What is the Hundred Fantasy Game? Follow
The Hundred is back for 2026, which means so too is The Hundred Fantasy Game!
Once again, you can make those dreams of managing your very own team a reality by selecting a 14 player squad made up of stars from both the Men's and Women's competitions.
It could not be easier to get involved and with the chance to win prizes throughout the competition, The Hundred Fantasy Game is another way to experience all the action and excitement of The Hundred!
Where to play
To play The Hundred Fantasy Game, download The Hundred app from the App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android, or go to fantasy.thehundred.com.
How it works
Once you have signed up to The Hundred Fantasy Game, you'll need to select a squad of 14 players who will score points based on their real-life performances in The Hundred.
You'll be able to enter into both public and private leagues to pit yourself against family, friends, colleagues, and other fans of The Hundred.
Selecting your squad
All players competing in The Hundred are given a credit score which will remain fixed
throughout the competition.
You will have 100 credits to use to select a squad of 14 from a pool of The Hundred players
across both the Men's and Women's Competitions. You can't use more than 100 credits, but you can use fewer should you wish!
Your squad must consist of seven men and seven women, as well as a mixture of playing
roles, outlined below:
1. 3 (minimum) to 6 (maximum) players classified as ‘batters’;
2. 1 (minimum) to 4 (maximum) players classified as ‘all-rounder’;
3. 1 (minimum) to 4 (maximum) players classified as ‘wicket-keeper’;
4. 3 (minimum) to 6 (maximum) players classified as ‘bowlers’.
There are no limits as to the number of overseas players you can pick.
For the first seven blocks, you are limited to three players per team.
You will select 11 starting players and 3 substitutes in your squad.
The three substitutes will be ordered from Substitute 1 to Substitute 3. This order will decide how they enter the game if a player does not compete within the block. For example: If a starting player doesn’t play within Block 1, they will be replaced by Substitute 1.
You will also need to select a Captain and a Vice Captain for your squad. A Captain receives 2x points and a Vice Captain receives 1.5x points.
If your Captain or Vice-Captain does not compete within the block, the substitute that replaces them will not receive double or 1.5 points.
Fixtures
Fixtures are divided into ‘Blocks’, with a total of eight blocks throughout The Hundred.
All Blocks start on a Monday or a Friday before the first match of the day.
There is one exception: Block 1. That begins on Tuesday 21 July when the first match takes place, starting at 14:45 BST.
Set yourself a reminder every Monday and Friday to lock in your team!
Between Blocks, you can make an unlimited number of changes to your team, and can edit
right up until the official start time of the first match in the upcoming Block.
Points Scoring
Points are awarded, and indeed taken away, for batting, bowling, and fielding. Here's the
breakdown:
Batting Points
Run | +1
Boundary Bonus | +1
Six Bonus | +2
30 Run Bonus | +5
50 Bonus | +10
100 Bonus | +20
Duck (dismissal for 0) | -2
Clearly, you’ll want to pick players who are going to score plenty of runs throughout the
competition. But it pays to think about those who score plenty of boundaries, for instance.
The more they hit, the more points you’ll get!
NOTE: Any player scoring a hundred will only get the +20 points for their hundred. This will not include their 30 and 50 bonus. For any runs scored on an overthrow, points for all of those runs will be awarded to the
batter on strike for that ball. However the batter will not receive an additional boundary bonus if the overthrow goes for a boundary.
Bowling Points
Wicket (Excluding a Run Out) | +25
Bonus (LBW/Bowled) | +8
2 Wicket Bonus | +3
3 Wicket Bonus | +5
4 Wicket Bonus | +10
5 Wicket Bonus | +20
Maiden | +12
Any player taking 5 wickets will only get the points for the 5 Wicket Bonus. No points will be awarded to them for the 2, 3 or 4 Wicket Bonuses.
Yes, selecting bowlers with a high number of wickets to their name makes sense. But those who bowl maidens - when a player bowls their set of five balls in a row without conceding a run, might prove just as valuable.
Fielding points
Catch | +8
3 Catch Bonus | +4
Stumping | +12
Run Out (Direct Hit) | +12
Run Out (Not a Direct Hit) | +6
A direct hit is when the fielder is the only person to touch the ball after the batter faces a delivery. In all other cases, points will be awarded to the last 2 fielders that touch the ball.
Players who take more than 3 catches will also get 4 points as 3 Catch Bonus. For example, if a player takes 6 catches, they will only score +4 points. There are a lot of different ways to get fielding points so keep that in mind when selecting your team!
Other points
Additional points will be awarded for the following:
Captain | 2x Points
Vice-Captain | 1.5x Points
In Announced Line Up | +4 Points
