Edgbaston Venue Information Follow
Gates open 90 minutes before play starts.
All matches at Edgbaston in 2024 will be double headers, with both the women’s and men’s matches on the same day so make sure you get there early for the first match.
Match day start times vary, so make sure you’ve looked at your ticket in The Hundred app to see what time the first match starts.
Anybody under the age of 14 attending a Birmingham Phoenix home fixture must be accompanied by an adult.
TOP TIPS
- Have your tickets ready via The Hundred app.
- Plan your journey to and from Edgbaston in advance and give plenty of time to arrive.
- Leave the car at home and use public transport wherever possible, there are many great rail and public bus routes, including a Shuttle Bus service from Birmingham New Street.
- Download the Edgbaston app to make the most of your visit and order food and drink from your seat.

FOOD & DRINK VIA THE EDGBASTON APP
Food and drink can be ordered from your seat for Click & Collect via the Edgbaston app https://edgbaston.com/app/, which is free on iOS and Android. Please note, this is separate to The Hundred app.
Download and follow instructions in the app on the ‘Order’ tab. Orders will be available to pick up ASAP from your selected bar.
Look out for the ‘Click & Collect’ bars and lanes located around the stadium.

TRAVEL

BY CAR
We encourage fans to leave their car at home and use public transport.
If you plan on driving, please make sure you book your car parking in advance to secure your space. There will be parking restrictions implemented on the streets around the stadium.
Official car parking is available to purchase at off-site locations online here.
There are a small number of Blue Badge parking available and these are available to buy online here.
Please do not travel without first booking your car park space – there are only a limited number of spaces available, and this will guarantee you a parking spot close to the stadium.
BIRMINGHAM CLEAN AIR ZONE
Please note that Birmingham City Council has a Clean Air Zone within the A4540 Middleway (Inner City Ring Road). Edgbaston is not within the Clean Air Zone, however, if you drive through the Clean Air Zone area in a car or van, you could be charged £8 per day if your vehicle does not meet the required standards. Driving on the A4540 Middleway itself will not incur charges. You can check if you will be charged using the Government vehicle checker and view a map of the Clean Air Zone, on the Brum Breathes website.
BY BUS
SHUTTLE BUS
Shuttle Bus service will be available for all The Hundred fixtures in 2024. The 501 Shuttle Bus pick-up point is located directly outside New Street Station on Smallbrook Queensway (opposite TK Maxx and close to the Bullring). The service is convenient for users of both New Street and Moor Street Train Stations. Buses will be running back from the stadium to the city centre after the close of play. Return tickets for the Shuttle Bus service can be purchased on the day from the driver.
PUBLIC BUSES
There are regular local buses to the ground from south-west Birmingham and the city centre. National Express buses 45 and 47 have services between the city centre and Pershore Road which is a 2-minute walk to the ground. More information on local buses can be found online at nxbus.co.uk.
TAXI DROP OFF & PICKUP
We kindly ask all spectator to arrange taxi drop off and pickup away from Edgbaston to avoid unnecessary traffic and to adhere to local parking restrictions.
BY BIKE
Edgbaston is easy to get to by bike with both the Rea Valley and the A38 (Bristol Road) cycle route close by, offering a safe way to travel to the stadium. Bike stands are available near the Main Reception, however, please note that all bikes are left at their owner’s risk.
BY TRAIN
Birmingham New Street Station is the main rail hub for the city, with connections from all over the country. There will be a Shuttle Bus service from the station directly to and from Edgbaston.
FACILITIES
ACCESSIBILITY
Parents can bring buggies to the venue. There will be a designated area to leave buggies on arrival. Buggies are not allowed in the stands.
Around the venue there are a number of wheelchair user areas, located within the stands to ensure fans remain a part of the atmosphere. Elevated wheelchair positions are located in the West Upper Stand and the South Stand Lower. These can be accessed by using the elevators in Main Reception. There is also pitch level wheelchair accessible seating located at the front of the Eric Hollies Stand.
Seating for Easy Access and Ambulant Disabled supporters is located in the South Lower Stand with level access from Main Reception If you would like to discuss your access requirements in more detail, please contact tickets@edgbaston.com
Edgbaston offers a free ticket for personal assistants attending a game to assist a disabled guest. Please contact Edgbaston directly to arrange this, via phone: 0330 551 1994 (option 1), Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
Lifts, ramps and staircases are available around the ground, while the venue’s stewarding team are available to provide assistance to any fans who require it.
Edgbaston is a proud partner of the National Key Scheme (NKS) which offers disabled people independent access to locked public toilets. These can be found around the ground and stewards will carry a key for fans who are not part of the scheme, or who have forgotten to bring their key with them.
Edgbaston also offers a Changing Places toilet, which is located behind the Eric Hollies Stand. To use the Changing Places facility, please ask one of the stewarding team on duty at the Eric Hollies Stand.
MULTIFAITH ROOM
Multifaith Rooms are available in the South Stand on the first floor, next to the 501* Lounge, and behind the Family Stand.
To access a Multifaith Room, please speak to a steward on the day.
SENSORY ROOM
Sensory Rooms are available for children and adults with sensory processing issues to attend a match in a calm environment at Edgbaston Stadium. The specially designed spaces are located in the South Stand and in the RES Wyatt Stand.

SHOP
Make sure you visit the on-site shop, Store ’94, located in the South Stand to get your Birmingham Phoenix kit.
